Anthony Sartori

After a panic attack landed Anthony in the emergency room, he started a campus club that made mental health a priority at the University of Maryland. Years later, burned out while working in a grocery store during the pandemic, he founded the nonprofit Evolving Minds to foster connection in his workplace—transforming it from a place where people barely knew each other’s names to a community that won unionization. But it wasn’t just in his workplace or at university where Anthony noticed a pervasive disconnection. For over a decade, he’s photographed “Our Epidemic of Loneliness” around the world. Now, Anthony leads his own social venture and speaks nationally, inspiring communities to build cultures of connection.
